So, what exactly
is red light therapy?
Great question. We get asked this a lot. Here's everything you need to know — no jargon, no fluff. Just a plain explanation of what our panels do and how to use them.
Shop the rangeIt's a panel that emits specific light.
Think of it like this — our panels shine specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. These wavelengths sit just beyond what your eye can fully see, and they're the same ones used in personal wellness routines by people all over the world.
It's non-invasive and sessions only take 5 to 15 minutes. Most people use their Renovo panel as part of their morning or evening routine. That's really it. No complicated setup, no special knowledge required.
Visible red light
630nm and 660nm — the red glow you can actually see when the panel is on.
Near-infrared light
810nm, 830nm, and 850nm — invisible to the eye but emitted by the panel.
Honestly, it couldn't be simpler.
We designed Renovo panels so you don't need a manual. Here's the whole process in four steps.
Set it up
Place the panel on your desk, bedside table, or floor. Position it 3 to 6 inches from the area you want to use it on.
Pick your mode
Switch between Red, NIR, or Red + NIR using the buttons on the panel or the remote that comes with the larger models.
5 to 15 minutes
That's your session done. Once a day is all you need. A short daily session is better than a long occasional one.
One thing to remember
Don't look directly into the LEDs while the panel is on. We recommend eye protection for face sessions.
"What do all those numbers mean?"
The numbers refer to the wavelength of light in nanometres (nm). All Renovo panels emit the same five wavelengths — here's what each one is in plain terms.
The red glow you can see. On all Renovo panels.
A commonly used red wavelength. On all panels.
Passes beyond the skin surface. On all panels.
A commonly used NIR wavelength. On all panels.
A longer near-infrared wavelength. On all panels.
We've got four panels. Here's how they differ.
All four panels emit the same five wavelengths. The differences are size, power, LED count, and extra features like timers and remotes.

Things people usually ask us.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
No preparation needed. Just switch it on and use it. Clean, dry skin is recommended for face sessions but there are no special requirements.
How long before I notice anything?
Everyone's experience is different. We recommend using your panel consistently for at least a few weeks before making any judgement — daily use is key.
Can I use it every day?
Yes — once daily is our recommended usage for all Renovo panels. 5 to 15 minutes per session is all you need.
Is it safe?
Renovo panels emit red and near-infrared light — not UV light. Always avoid looking directly into the LEDs and use eye protection for face sessions. If you have any medical conditions or are pregnant, speak to your healthcare professional before use.
Which panel should I start with?
If you're new and want something compact and easy to use, the Parvus is a great starting point. If you want full-body coverage from day one, the Medium or Lata Medium are worth considering.
Does it get hot?
The LEDs produce a very mild warmth but nothing uncomfortable. The larger panels have built-in cooling fans to keep everything running efficiently.
Important: Renovo panels are personal wellness devices. They are not therapeutic devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition or disease. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, please consult your healthcare professional before use. Do not look directly into the LEDs — eye protection is recommended. Keep out of reach of children.
