At Renovo Australia, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to your satisfaction. This policy explains when and how you can return goods and request a refund, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
1. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), purchases come with automatic guarantees that they will work and match the description provided.
You are entitled to a remedy if a product has a major failure, including:
- It is unsafe
- It is significantly different from the description
- It doesn't do what we said it would do or what you reasonably expected
- It has a defect that would not be considered minor
In these cases, you may choose a refund, replacement, or compensation for drop in value.
2. Change of Mind Returns
We offer a change of mind return at our discretion. To be eligible, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The return must be initiated within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date
- The product must be unused, unassembled, and in its original sealed packaging with all accessories, documentation, and tags intact
- The product must be in a condition suitable for resale
- Proof of purchase must be provided
- The return must be pre-approved by Renovo Australia before the item is sent back — unapproved returns will not be accepted
If approved:
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs
- A refund will be issued minus the original outbound shipping costs
- Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods
We reserve the right to decline a change of mind return if these conditions are not met.
3. How to Request a Return or Refund
To make a return or refund request, please:
- Email us at: support@renovoaustralia.com.au
- Include the following in your email:
- Your order number
- The product name
- Reason for return
- Photos or videos showing any issue (if applicable)
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Do not return any item until you have received written approval from us.
4. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or develops a fault within a reasonable time:
- Contact us immediately at support@renovoaustralia.com.au
- We will ask for photos or videos to assess the issue before authorising a return
If covered under ACL guarantees, you may choose:
- Full refund
- Replacement
- Repair (if reasonable)
We will cover return shipping costs for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products.
5. Warranty Details
Renovo products include a manufacturer's warranty. The specific warranty period is stated on the warranty card included with your product.
Warranty claims are processed separately to change of mind returns but are in addition to your rights under the ACL.
Please refer to the warranty card included in your product packaging for full terms and the applicable warranty period.
6. Non-Returnable / Excluded Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we may not accept returns for:
- Opened personal care or health devices (unless faulty under ACL)
- Items marked "Non-returnable" in the product listing
7. Refund Processing
Refunds, when approved, will be processed:
- To the original payment method only
- Within 5–10 business days of approval
You will be notified by email when your refund has been issued.
8. Shipping Costs
- Return shipping for change of mind: Customer pays
- Return shipping for faulty, damaged or incorrect items: Renovo Australia pays
- Original delivery charges are refundable only if the return is due to a product fault, damage, or error on our part
9. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any concerns fairly and promptly. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@renovoaustralia.com.au so we can work to resolve the issue directly.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to:
- Consumer Affairs Victoria: www.consumer.vic.gov.au
- The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC): www.accc.gov.au
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
11. Privacy
When you submit a return or refund request, we collect personal information including your name, contact details, order information, and any supporting photos or videos you provide. This information is used solely for the purpose of processing your request.
We handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and our Privacy Policy available at renovoaustralia.com.au. We do not share your personal information with third parties except where required to process your return or as required by law.
